Hello there! Scroll down to see what I've been doing recently...

Whoohoo! I wish my bathtub was this big! In early September mommy and daddy celebrated their seventh anniversary by spending a few days on Cape Cod. The weather was warm enough for a bit of playing in the water--one of the first times I really enjoyed it!

Careful, daddy--that little hermit crab just tried to pinch me! He's cute, huh?

Ahem, is the tea ready, daddy? How is a lady to enjoy herself without her afternoon tea?

Even though I didn't like the sand on my feet at first, eventually I really enjoyed exploring and collecting shells...but because I insisted on getting every shell, we never went more than a few feet before I gave up!

We also went biking on the Cape, since there are a lot of great trails there.

In October we went with the guys from the International Fellowship House on a weekend retreat, where we climbed Mt. Monadnock in New Hampshire (supposedly the most-climbed mountain in the world). This is us pretty close to the top (mommy and I didn't go the rest of the way because it got pretty steep and dangerous).

At the retreat center, I got to kick balls around and swing lots and lots. Here I'm perfecting my "fake right go left" move--daddy says it works every time!

One thing I enjoyed a lot this summer and fall was walking home from church through the Boston Common and the Boston Garden. It takes much longer when they let me out of my stroller--I just take my good old time!

I really like to chase animals on the way home, too! The pigeons never give me a chance, though.

Ack! I was so close to this squirrel!

Hey, that's not fair! I'm the one who is supposed to chase YOU!

Whoa! What's this?! Mommy and daddy introduced me to this cow when we traveled to Pennsylvania in October. I got to "milk" it!

I'm in love with horses! This little pony at a fair on our street was so fun, although for some reason I was a bit nervous about riding it. Okay, where is my lasso?

We saw these huge gold fish at a Chinese Restaurant. Say, maybe that's what the "fresh fish special" sign out front meant! Daddy, what was in my dumpling, anyway???

Speaking of animals, I met my first (uncooked) turkey on Thanksgiving--I helped mommy stuff it and put it in the oven, but for some reason I wasn't hungry when we sat down to eat...

So...what else have I been up to? Well, hanging out with other little people, for one thing! A lot of mommy's friends recently had babies, too, so we get to see them a lot. Mommy and daddy seem to be just one year off from their friends!

I've also been really into trucks and buses (go figure, I'm supposed to be a girl!). Our neighborhood had a street fair a while ago and I got to pretend to drive this great fire truck! Mommy, a little help--could you press the gas pedal for me? Let's rev this puppy up!

Oooh! The garbage truck! This is exciting!

We also still occasionally go to the Children's Museum. Here I'm making a card for my grandpa Wenger's birthday!

I still like flowers, too! Here I'm on a sniffing spree on Cape Cod. Now all the flowers are gone, though--the winter is bad for the smaller pleasures of life!

We've also been making a lot of trips to the middle-wife or something like that. Whoever she is, she always checks mommy's belly to see if she can hear the baby, but I just amuse myself with the scales...

Haaaaaalloooooooooo! Yodel-ay-hee-hoo! Now if only I was on a tall mountain in Switzerland....

I really like to dance to fun music! I'll do it anywhere--even in the store when mom and dad go shopping, much to the amusement of everyone else. Here's I'm teaching Gumby how to salsa...or something. :O)

I also tried my hand at pool recently...okay, not really, but my cousins and I had lots of fun anyway! I can't remember who won....

Ahh, the pleasure of clean teeth! This feels a bit strange...but if mommy and daddy do it, I have to as well! I can be a big copy cat sometimes...

Whew! This is a lot of work for deviled eggs! I'd rather eat them than peel them--I love egg whites.

Okay, the whole apple in three bites!

Snack time! Nuh uh, daddy! I won't fall for that trick--get your own yogurt!

Whoops! Flipping that omelet didn't go as planned, daddy! Sorry about that. Guess we'll have scrambled eggs instead. Maybe I should have a back-up career in case this culinary thing doesn't work out...

The red button, right mommy? What an awful noise it makes! Smoothies are yummy for a bed time snack. Notice my warm sleeper grandma Wenger made for me for Christmas!

I've also developed an insatiable desire for chewing gum, and this is how I let mommy and daddy know that I want some--I just walk around like this and say "mmmmm!" until they see me! Daddy usually gives me some sugar-free gum when he comes home from school.

In December we went to Pennsylvania to celebrate with my parents' families. Here we are with daddy's family--it was a zoo! There were 28 of us there packed into grandma's living room. I'm in the green outfit in the foreground.

I could open gifts all by myself this year, but I had to be SO precise and rip the paper off bit by bit.

Mmmm! A kiss from cousin Patrick is the best gift of all!

Aunt Ann, I want to help, too! I know the floor is dirty because of me...

Grandpa Fisher is a good fixit-man. Here he's trying to fix this fire engine ladder! It looks just like the ones I see at the firehouse around the corner from our house.

Grandma Fisher surprised me with a last-minute gift--a cut-out farm puzzle! I don't see too many of these animals in Boston, I can assure you!

We also saw mommy's family. Here grandpa Wenger is giving me one of his famous horsie rides!

Grandma Wenger is helping my memory and matching skills. Now where was that deer again?

Uncle Dwayne helped me to unwrap a few gifts. This time it was some fun books!

After all the hubbub of Christmas, one still needs to find time to play with all the gifts! Here's I'm working on all my cut-out puzzles.

This fun kitty from Uncle Ray and Juan Carlos has become my bed buddy! Oops, I'd better relax my grip--I think she stopped breathing!

One of the best things about winter, of course, is snow! There have been fresh snowfalls a few mornings in December, which I love to watch from my favorite alley-viewing chair!

Say, isn't child labor against the law, daddy? This was fun for the first 2 minutes, but my back is gonna be all out of whack in the morning--I may have to go see my chiropractor again--and you know how the insurance companies are about covering those things...

But of course, with winter comes the sniffles...and I seem to have them a lot!

Aw, poor Minou, do you have the sniffles too?

This is daddy's idea of "fun"--fun for whom, I ask? :O) Actually, I initiated this crowd-pleasing performance...

Alright! My proposal for the World Trade Towers replacement is almost complete! Oh, I do hope the people of New York City choose my design!

This neato drum daddy got in Kenya is lots of fun! What was that about quiet hours, daddy?

THE END! Thanks for stopping by!
